READ & DOWNLOAD à Dear God Tales from Foster High #45 Riend Kyle Stilleno goes to a local church in search of understanding His inuiry leads him to surprising conclusions and forces h. Wow Wow Wow I was actually tearing up with this short story To read what I strongly believe the Bible is all about is liberating People today seem to think the Bible is something they can use to say that some people are good and some aren t Most hide behind it to defend their own hatred by saying the Bible told them so I can assure you Kyle there is no hatred in that book nor in God s heart For me you can sum it up to God is about love and he is about forgiveness He is our father not our jailer my other reviews of the series

READ & DOWNLOAD à Dear God Tales from Foster High #45 Im to reexamine his own beliefs In this lost chapter from End of the Innocence the enemy may not be where Kyle expects to find it. If you want to read what God is all about you need to read this book It makes a clear distinction between God and religion Religion is what people make out of the bible or any other scripture God is love and he loves youI think it was really refreshing to read this kind of positive view on God in a gay romance because very often God and religion are depicted as very bad And I believe there is good reason to show it like this but it was really good to hear again that there is a difference between the two This short episode takes place during End of the Innocence and is an extra scene but you can read it as a stand alone if you re just curious about God and gays and religion I feel like I have to share some personal things as wellI grew up in a Christian family in Germany You know not the kind that goes to church on Christmas and believes there is some kind of godly entity that believes Jesus was a cool guy and had some good things to sayNo the small group of Christians that go to church every Sunday volunteer in the church and actually believes what the bible says and tries to live a life like JesusIf that creeps you out I understand But let me tell you my family and the church I went to was all about how God is love and how we should love and serve each other It was about God wanting to have a real breathing relationship with each and everyone of us How God is good and wants the best for us There are several problems with that but not what is important hereSo I pretty much learned and lived what John Goode tells in this little story about God versus religion And I am thankful that my people were no haters Though some were probably wary and coming out in a church is not really heard of It s not that they preach homosexuality is okSo although I was a Christian I never hated gay people and I found it utterly wrong if people did thatMy misdeed wasn t hating my misdeed was not caring enough It just didn t concern me It was not a daily topic I didn t know any LGTBI people I lived in a Christian ghettoIf you ask me it would have been the church s task to stand up for the LGTBI community but they failed I failed And I am deeply sorry for spending 30 years of my life in ignoranceYou might have noticed me speaking in the past not the present I would never have thought it possible but I moved on Moved on from the faith and belief that I had known and lived for so long Moved on to a place I am not entirely sure about all I know is I can t go back And all this had nothing to do with what I told you above so I will keep it to myself You can ask me if you want to know and I might tell you but not here A Rose in Winter kind of positive view on God in a gay romance because very often God and religion are depicted as very bad And I believe there is good
